We Tried MrBeast Burger And It Was Okay

Have you tried MrBeast burger yet? We have and it’s just okay. MrBeast Burger is a virtual restaurant brand created by YouTuber MrBeast, in collaboration with a fellow content creator, Dream. The 22-year-old, who is known for his extreme stunts, launched the virtual restaurant brand the Dream Burger in 2020.

MrBeast Burger is a virtual brand that runs out of existing kitchens and is only available via food delivery services. Instead of pulling up at a restaurant or drive-thru, customers can only order via the MrBeast Burger website or its mobile app.

What’s MrBeast Burger Anyway?

The MrBeast Burger is a delivery-only fast food restaurant chain founded and developed by YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson (a.k.a. MrBeast), in collaboration with Virtual Dining Concepts, LLC. There are now over 1,000 locations in North America and Europe, with plans to expand to additional nations and significantly increase the number of outlets.

The restaurant chains have a range of burgers, french fries, desserts, and canned beverages on their menu. Customers order food through a delivery app that is handled by the brick-and-mortar locations of participating restaurants.

MrBeast Burger Locations

The first MrBeast Burger was opened in Wilson, North Carolina on November 10, 2020. This location, which was previously a Burger Boy restaurant that had been hastily redecorated, was the only physical location of the business.

As of June 2019, there are over 1000 locations in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Poland, Spain Portugal, and the Netherlands.

MrBeast Burger Menu

The MrBeast Burger menu offers a variety of fast food items such as burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, fries, and shakes. The chain also serves breakfast items such as pancakes and oatmeal.

The most popular item on the menu is the Beast Style Burger, which is a beef burger topped with smashed crispy beef patties with house seasoning, sharp American cheese, pickles, diced white onion, mayo, ketchup, and brown mustard on a soft roll.

We tried the following 3 MrBeast Burgers:

  • Chandler Style Burger – Two smashed crispy beef patties with house seasoning served plain with American cheese on a bun
  • Christ Style Burger – Two smashed crispy beef patties with house seasoning, sharp American cheese, and bacon, topped with crinkle fries
  • Karl’s Deluxe Burger – A patty melt served Karl’s Style with a crispy seasoned beef patty, caramelized onions, and cheese on a toasty inverted bun

For vegan options, the restaurant offers IMPOSSIBLE Burgers. The Impossible Burger is a plant-based burger that looks and tastes like beef but is made from peas, mung bean, and rice protein.

How Much Does it Cost?

The menu consists of five burger selections ranging in price from $6.99 to $8.99. The most expensive burger on the menu is the Dream Burger, which is a collaboration between MrBeast and fellow YouTuber Dream. The burger features two beef patties, American cheese, bacon, and crinkle fries on a bun.

What Did We Think?

We tried the Classic MrBeast Burger, Beast Style, and it was just okay. The burger was a little overcooked for our liking and the bun was dry.

The sauce on one burger was too much, while the other had enough. The cheese was so melted that it was flowing off the burger like a river. The fries were crinkle cut and seasoned, but were cold and soggy. The burger bun was not well constructed, so the inside became soggy and heavy.

We also tried the Beast Style fries, which are covered in MrBeast Burger’s secret sauce, and they were pretty good. Overall, we thought the food was just okay. It’s not bad, but it’s not great either.

All in all, it was an okay experience. The burger was nothing special and we probably wouldn’t order it again.

What contributed to the inconsistent taste?

For one, MrBeast Burger is a virtual restaurant brand, which means it doesn’t have its own brick-and-mortar locations. The brand relies on existing kitchens to prepare and cook the food, which can lead to inconsistencies. Additionally, the menu is pretty limited, so there’s not a lot of room for error.

If you’re a fan of MrBeast, then you’ll probably enjoy the burger. But if you’re looking for a great burger, you might want to try it somewhere else.

Are MrBeast Burgers worth it?

Just like anything, it depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re expecting an amazing burger then you might be disappointed. However, if you want to try something new and support MrBeast, then go ahead and give it a go. Who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised!

The Bottom Line

We think MrBeast Burgers are okay. They’re not the best burgers we’ve ever had, but they’re also not the worst. If you’re a fan of MrBeast, then go ahead and give them a try. But if you’re looking for an amazing burger, you might want to look elsewhere.

If you’re hungry and in a pinch, MrBeast Burger will do.
